Profit attribution for paid media

Your ads have a ROAS. They don't have a profit.

Every ad platform reports revenue and calls it performance. None of them know your cost of goods, your shipping, your processing fees or your return rate. RoasOps does the arithmetic they can't.

The campaign you'd scale is often the one losing money

A 3.9 return on ad spend looks like a winner. Run the real numbers and it clears less than half of what the dashboard implied.

And a 2.1 campaign selling a higher-margin product beats it outright. Ranking by profit reorders which campaigns deserve more budget, which is the decision the whole account turns on.

Illustrative figures at a 30% cost of goods, typical shipping, processing and return rates.

One campaign · one month · $1,000 spend
Reported revenue at 3.9 ROAS$3,900
What the dashboard implies you made$2,900
Ad spend−$1,000
Cost of goods−$1,170
Shipping−$200
Payment processing−$117
Returns−$195
Actual profit$1,218

Why no ad platform will ever show you this

Meta doesn't know what your product costs to make. Neither does Google. They can't calculate your profit, and they have no reason to want to, because profit is always a smaller number than revenue and smaller numbers mean smaller budgets.

So we calculate it, from your own commerce and CRM data, and put it next to the spend.

01

True profit per campaign

Real cost of goods, real shipping, real processing fees and returns, matched to the campaign, ad set and creative that produced the order.

02

Guardrails that hold

Set spend limits and rules once. Every automated change is logged, reversible, and enforced even when a platform re-enables its own defaults.

03

Numbers that admit what they don't know

We publish our match rate next to the profit figure. Unattributed revenue is shown as unattributed, never quietly assigned to a channel.
